Frequently Asked Question
0
How do you plan to nullify the documents?
A new record is being created in the Blockchain, noting that the last document was annuled and the new one became valid.
Hashes are being stored unchanged in the Blockchain. The data itself is being stored in repositories, that companies and organisations can independently connect to. They are not immutable.
1
How are you going to verify the companies, organizations and platforms?
Every organization has to pass the verification stages (e-mail, telephone, socials, delegates, etc.)
The organization provides the maximum possible amount of information about itself: phone number, e-mail address, social networks addresses, registration documents.
This information is being automatically checked (if possible) and displayed when verifying the data, so the user could have full information about the issuer of the data and how much he has confirmed his profile. After this procedure, user makes a decision - whether to trust this information or not.
2
Why do you need Blockchain, if there is an EDS?
EDS is valid only in the specific state where it was issued
EDS is not very convenient. With Blockchain you don’t need to sign each and every document, you can sign an account once and that’s it. For example, you don’t need to enter the Apple ID password each time you access your phone and use Apple Pay. It's enough to enter your account once and confirm the payments with a password of 4 digits.
3
What is ENDO?

ENDO is a Blockchain, a Blockchain protocol and data verification services.
We provide a ready-made solution for organizations - the ability to deploy their own private Blockchain for data storage.
All data can be verified through our public Blockchain.
Organizations can safely exchange data through our protocol.
On top of the ecosystem, one can create the applications for his own needs, that will simplify and automate the work with data. The ENDO team develops the first five applications for the entire community:
ENDO Docs - application for creating documents, signing and sending to the Blockchain.
ENDO Workflow - allows one to sign documents in a chain. The usecase for this application is Supply Chain.
ENDO KYC - allows KYC/AML verifiers, such as banks and notaries to issue digital certificates of personal identification. Using this one can log in to the third-party resources, such as cryptocurrency exchange, by only two clicks.
MyENDO is a mobile app that is able to upload all the user’s data and documents.
ENDO Legacy tracks the authenticity of goods. It can read the QR/NFC tags and verify the authenticity of the product in the Blockchain. The application features such functions as "ownership", "transfer of rights" and marketing tools.
The ENDO team prepares an SDK for third-party developers. We all believe in one big idea: simple and quick access to the data proven to be reliable. The more apps and smart developers will work on this task, the faster the project will be implemented.
Of course we understand that some companies need their own solutions from their own developers.
Every new idea and development opens up a new potential for using Blockchain and protocol. We plan to conduct hackathons to support developers in 2019.
4
What is scoring?
Scoring is the score of data’s reliability.
Use examples:
a) To pass the KYC verification via the passport photo.
b) To get verified offline at the notary.
c) To get a digital ID from the primary source.
All these options have a different degree of reliability. With scoring we can show the level of reliability of the data from our side, but the user has to decide for himself whether he trusts this level of verification. After all, for different tasks a different level of trust is appropriate.
Scorings are being actively used in the banking sector. In the future scoring can be applied to any type of data, since it’s written as a separate component.
5
What is scoring and how will you check if the information that companies provide is reliable?
Automated checkings: does the person or company own the e-mail, the domain and the phone number.
We can not guarantee their validity, we can only verify the existence and ownership.
Our next task is to provide this data as openly as possible – to allow those who use them independently decide whether it’s valid or not.
What is scoring: the implementation of the reputational system.
Every user can vote for this data, and the amount of final points is affected by his reputation.
This concept is being worked out - we try to take into account all the situations and extreme cases (as well as the fraud possibilities).
Anyway, the platform can easily exist without this concept, so we develop it parallel to the basic functionality. We will introduce it the next steps.
6
Where can I buy ETokens after Token Sale?
What exchanges will ETokens be traded on?
Despite the fact, that the speculative token trade is contrary to the concept of Utility token, we do not exclude the possibility, that our token will be listed on various exchanges, such as: IDEX, Huobi, EtherDelta, Binance, Bitshares
7
Will you continue to sell tokens after the tokensale?
Are they unlimited?
Token emission is an important economic parameter of the ecosystem. We are modeling the ENDO economic system in order to understand the values of these parameters. At the moment there is no additional issue of tokens, tokens will be issued in a limited amount of 100 million. The change of this parameter will be controlled by the token holders based on the voting procedure in a way for the ecosystem to remain balanced for every participant.
They will be sold after the initial distribution only if the platform will hold them. The platform will hold them, if the companies will buy our services. They will buy them either via tokensale (that’s what we are striving for - to sell tokens to the real users, not random people), or from those who bought in advance.
8
When will I be able to store the token in my wallet?
Within seven days after the completion of the tokensale and the KYC procedure.
9
If a person doesn’t pass KYC, will he receive tokens?
No, his funds will be returned within one month after the completion of Tokensale, the failure of the KYC procedure and a request for a refund.
10
What’s token’s ticker?
ET
11
Who sets the token rates?
What can make the token rate change?
The market token price depends directly on the demand for it. Demand, in it’s turn, is based on the number of organizations that use the token. The whole ecosystem’s development is aimed at increasing the amount of verified data and implemented integrations. Which means, that even implementation of one partner need a regular purchasing of tokens.
Our token is a utility one and it will be used exclusively within the platform. Talking about the price, according to our analysts' calculations, the successful functioning of the platform and protocol needs to set the level at about $1 per token, but at the tokensale stage we pre-sell it at the price of $0.375. It should be understood that we can not give any investment expectations - since we have a utility token.
You must evaluate the perspective of tokens yourself. One have to evaluate the professional level of the team, their developing, marketing and managing skills. How viable the platform is and does the idea have a demand in the real world. What benefits will the development brings and is it able to attract customers.
12
What token is needed for?
Verification of data - the process of storing information in the Blockchain. The decentralized platform is supported by nodes, respectively, a token is needed to stimulate network members to maintain the system.
Token is needed for data exchange among organizations - they set the cost of data exchange among each other.
A token can be used when receiving services or paying for goods, if related to the use of verified data.
Token is used to vote for the development of the protocol and determine the economic parameters of the system.
To stimulate developers who create apps for the open Blockchain protocol ENDO. Some token’s percentage is payed to the creator of the application used.
13
Do you have a market making plan?
EToken is a utility token and the speculative trade of tokens contradicts their concept. However, despite this, we don’t exclude the possibility that EToken will be listed on exchanges. For example, decentralized. In this regard, we intend to allocate resources from the liquidity fund to minimize the risks for our community.
14
What currencies can one buy EToken for?
BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, Fiat
15

21
How can I use the token?
It can be used in several cases:
For organizations:
1) To verify data in a public Blockchain.
2) When exchanging verified data among organizations registered in the network.
For users:
1) The user can order a service in the network:

to pass the KYC procedure at the notary,
to order the professional translator to make a translation of the document.
2) When performing transactions between two network users: buying any goods in the store app using a smart contract.
For the developers: developers of app for the ENDO Blockchain protocol will receive a commission
22
Do you have Airdrop or Bounty?
Bounty is already live. Airdrop will begin soon. Bounty campaign: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4193980.0
23
Why EOS?
We share the ideology of PoS systems, EOS implements the consensus of dPoS and it’s a fast and cheap distributed registry, these characteristics are important for the implementation of the ENDO’s usecases. In addition, EOS provides an ability to load custom smart contracts, which will allow to decentralize the logic of the connected integrations.
24
What do you take from EOS and what did you add there?
The basic Blockchain platform solves the tasks related to the implementation of the distributed ledger: from business tasks, such as user authorization and the publication of smart contracts, to the network and transport tasks, such as block validation, and the node detection algorithm. We supplement the Blockchain platform with the necessary functions to implement the ENDO usecases: authentication and granting of data access rights, data verification, decentralized scoring logic, storage of open application and company data. Full information is available in our whitepaper.
25
Why do you need Blockchain?
Blockchain is necessary for decentralized data verification and management of access rights to the data. Blockchain guarantees consistency, authorship, time of creation or updating of the data. Also, Blockchain can guarantee verification by providing impersonal information. This feature allows one to get reliable data quickly and flexibly, without violating the personal data laws.
26
Where is the data stored?
Data is stored in repositories that are connected to the applications and integrated companies. It can be both centralized (Dropbox, Google drive, servers with access via SSH / FTP) and decentralized (IPFS, Filecoin, Storj, Siacoin). The protocol implements interfaces of connecting to these storages of encrypted data and providing their secure transmission between applications.
27
Who is responsible for the quality of the data?
Organizations that publish this data. They are the primary source of this data. ENDO implements scoring functions, as well as a special framework. This makes data provision more secure. Documents must be signed by several participants, as it’s done in banking structures.
ENDO Protocol – is a provider among organizations .
Edit: We can not guarantee that no one will publish invalid or fake data on its own behalf. But we can request and publish public information about organizations, making a basis for the the data recipient to decide whether to trust it or not.
28
Who will conduct KYC?
ENDO PROTOCOL has all the necessary licenses to complete the KYC procedure independently, as one of our products is ENDO KYC. Therefore, we will not appeal to any outside organizations.
29
Are you a protocol or an application?
We are an open Blockchain protocol that allows one to create applications based on it.
30
How much does it cost to use the product?
It depends on how much data is going to be verified. The cost of one verification unit is approximately ~ 0.07 USD. For example, a university with 10,000 graduates needs to pay annually about ~ 1000 USD.
31
And can you provide data free of charge?
It is possible, if the organization-publisher of the data provides it free of charge. The data owner can see this in the Interface.
32
Is there a legal opinion?
At the moment, the legal opinion is in the preparation process. Once it is ready, we will publish it on our website.
33
Where is the company registered?
ENDO PROTOCOL PTE. LTD. is registered in Singapore.
34
Why Singapore?
